With the advent of COVID-19, all non-essential businesses in Illinois have been ordered to close in the interest of minimizing public gatherings and slowing the spread of the virus. All sorts of spots, from restaurants to movie theaters, have been ordered to shut their doors for the time being. Citizens are encouraged to stay home and only go out for necessities.

With these drastic changes being such a recent phenomenon, many individuals still find themselves unclear on the terminology. What is essential, and what’s not? Are car dealerships and service/maintenance considered essential in Illinois, or have they been forced to close too?

Sales departments are allowed to stay open on an appointment-only basis, while dealership showrooms are closed. For optimal safety, we here at Continental Mitsubishi are operating both our repair services and sales by appointment-only.

Customers are welcome to visit our dealership and service center by setting up an appointment. However, another option is to simply schedule the pick-up and drop off of one’s vehicle at their residence. By doing this, customers do not have to leave their house and can continue sheltering in place. Utilizing this service is a great way to minimize one’s public exposure at this volatile time.

If you would like to schedule an appointment with us here at Continental Mitsubishi, just give us a call at 708-354-1400. Note that our service hours have changed to 7 am through 3 pm Monday through Thursday, and from 7 am until 3 pm on Saturday. Sales is available 9 am to 5 pm.
