The Mitsubishi Mirage hatchback is getting a new sibling: starting this year, it’ll also be available in four-door sedan form. The brand-new car made its American debut at the New York International Auto Show last week. So, when is the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 sedan release date, and what will it have to offer? Read on for answers and photos galore!
What’s New On The Mirage G4 Sedan?
The 2017 Mirage G4 will share the same ultra-efficient powertrain as the 2017 Mirage hatchback. Equipped with a fuel-saving continuously variable transmission, the Mirage G4 can get up to 35 miles per gallon in the city, and 42 miles per gallon on the highway. Like the hatchback version, its small size and maneuverability make it perfect for the big city – it’s easy to squeeze into even the tightest parking spaces.
Its wheelbase is a little longer, making room for a spacious passenger cabin plus 12.3 cubic feet of trunk space. Its face is slightly different, too, with distinctive little square brackets around the fog lights. Aside from these differences, the Mirage G4 sedan will share the hatchback’s value-packed set of new features. These include new alloy wheels, new seats, support for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a deluxe Rockford-Fosgate audio system option.
When Will It Be Available At Continental Mitsubishi?

Pricing for the sedan hasn’t been announced yet, but you can expect something close to the hatchback’s bargain starting price of only $12,995. No matter which version you choose, the 2017 Mirage will remain one of the most affordable new cars on the market.
