Today we get to tell you about something really, really exciting. We always love when we get to talk about Mitsubishi supporting organizations in the community, like when the company auctioned off the first Lancer Evo Final Edition to benefit National MS Society, or even when Continental Mitsubishi ourselves supported St. Baldrick’s Foundation several years ago. Today, we get to talk about a new team up, as MMNA announced its support of The Asher House, a fairly new organization that is taking action at animal shelters across the United States, helping to find homes for shelter dogs that might not otherwise be rescued.

“Our consumers have wide-ranging ambitions in life and Mitsubishi Motors is here to help drive those ambitions. Lee started with a passion when he created The Asher House and it has become a movement to help raise awareness for rescue animals and shelters across the country; Asher’s bold decision to take action on his ambition is admirable and we’re privileged to be able to help support his mission.”

How is Mitsubishi helping?

Two Dogs Sticking Heads Out Window of VehicleFor starters, Mitsubishi Motors donated an all-new 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross to Lee Asher, the founder of the organization, and his team. That vehicle will be utilized by Asher and his team (as well as his six adopted dogs) to travel to different Asher House events across the continent. In addition to this donation, Mitsubishi has pledged to provide support at local market rescue events and other social gatherings. Keep an eye out for The Asher House events in your area and consider rescuing a shelter dog of your own if you’re in the market for a new pet.
