What to ask when test driving a car
We might be a little biased, but the test drive is one of the best parts of the car buying process. You’ve done hours and hours of research into choosing the right vehicle to make good on your future investment and you finally get to try out all the features and technology you’ve been reading about firsthand. It doesn’t get any better than that…well, other than bringing the vehicle home. But what should you ask when test driving a car and how do you even go about conducting one? Well it’s actually pretty easy and for your convenience we’ve created this helpful list of what to look for and ask when you go for a test drive at Continental Mitsubishi.
#1 – Get on the calendar
It seems like a simple idea, but scheduling a test drive in advance is a great idea especially if you’re interested in a particular vehicle. We love when customers just drop by our lot to test drive a vehicle that day, but by scheduling in advance you can ensure that particular number you saw in our inventory is available.
Making an appointment couldn’t be easier. Use our online scheduling form or give us a call and we’ll get you on the calendar. After that you’ll be one step closer to learning more about that particular vehicle you have your eye on.
#2 – Make a list
Before you go to the test drive, review your notes and research and identify what particular things you would like more information on. Don’t be afraid to bring your list to the test drive! Our expert sales professionals are knowledgeable and more than happy to walk you through anything you want to learn more about.
During the test drive be sure to ask about Bluetooth connectivity, active and inactive safety features, infotainment system, voice control features, address book access and control, security features and other equipment. The more you know the more comfortable you’ll feel when you have to make the difficult decision of what vehicle to buy.
#3 – Decision time
The best part about doing business with Continental Mitsubishi? We don’t do high-pressure sales. Just because you conduct a test drive doesn’t mean you are in any way obligated to buy that vehicle. We know making the decision to buy a vehicle is very important and whether or not you decide to buy that particular vehicle is fine by us. We’ll just be glad you stopped by.
